Crapless craps is a form of craps that was created by a man named Bob Stupak. Stupak once owned the Stratosphere Casino in Las Vegas. This form of the game is played quite often in the state of Mississippi. It can also be found at the Stratosphere Casino, but outside of these two places, you would be hard pressed to find it anywhere else. It’s just not very popular.

Crapless craps is also known as “ruse craps” or “never ever craps”. The rules are a little bit different and at first glance seem to be designed to generate less risk for the player. However, this is not necessarily the case. The player is giving up the chance to automatically win when an 11 is rolled so that the house will give up losing possibilities (since other numbers besides 7 can become the point). However, the possibility of the house losing over the long haul is pretty small. Though the player’s chances of winning do improve a bit, it is not by a significant amount. The edge that the house has is roughly 5.4%.

Here are the basic rules of crapless craps: Players do not lose a pass bet if they crap out when the shooter rolls the come out roll. When the come out roll is played, other numbers beside 7 can become the point number. However, players won’t be able to automatically win if an 11 is rolled.

Overall, it is believed that players have a better chance at winning traditional craps games then they do at crapless craps. Therefore, it might not be the best way to go when you have a choice.
